Commissions

Jane takes pleasure in working with people to create a piece of art with a special meaning. This may be from a favourite holiday destination, their home or garden, a scene that reminds them of a loved one or their childhood. These works can be single pieces of any size or a group of different sized canvases that relate to each other to complete a desired effect.

Timeframe

Initial contact will enable Jane to provide a likely completion time frame. Consideration will be given to preparation requirements for upcoming exhibitions, other work in progress and commitments for other commissions.

The commission process

The commission process includes a number of consultations with Jane to ensure the desired effect is reached. An image of the work in progress can be emailed for viewing during the development process.

Costs

Commission prices depend on the size and number of canvases and start from NZ$500.00 plus GST. A photo of the chosen subject and a deposit of 25% is all that is required to commence a commissioned piece. The balance will be required upon completion.

Packaging and Postage

Packaging and postage are additional to the cost of the commmission and will vary depending on the size and number of canvases. To ensure security during transportation worldwide, a quote can be provided for custom made packaging and insurance.

Original New Zealand Art

A certificate of authenticity will be provided with completed work for insurance purposes along with a CV and additional information about the artist. The artist Jane Puckey retains copyright on all commissioned works.
