This print depicts a red David Brown 990 tractor which has launched a boat off Whangaumu bay on the Tutukaka coast. Whangaumu bay is also known as Wellingtons Bay - a picturesque long, sandy beach - which is lovely for swimming.

This print depicts the beautiful Ponui Island located to the southeast of Waiheke Island, at the eastern end of the Tamaki Strait (which separates the island from the Hunua Ranges on the mainland to the south). The rocks on the lower part of the painting show different aspects of light on form, light on form and water being my focus in my work for the original painting.

I was once fortunate enough to meet Greg when I visited the island - which lies in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand.
This painting/print views Browns island and Rangitoto island from east Auckland - looking out across the Tamaki strait. The Tamaki Strait is one of several passes between the islands of the inner Hauraki Gulf, near the entrance of Waitematā Harbour just off Auckland city (in New Zealand). This stretch of water separates the North Island (mainland) from Waiheke Island, east of Auckland city.
This print depicts a view from Mita Bay campground at Mahurangi Regional Park (West). While looking out from under the shady branches of a pohutukawa tree across turquoise water to Saddle island (Te Haupa island) and in the distance Motuora island, with the headland just around from Big Bay just visible to the left.
While lying on the grass looking up through the branches of a beautiful pohutukawa tree in full bloom these orbs of light among the branches and flowers is what I saw. This print can be either hung horizontally or vertically depending on your wall space.
