"Feast for the Kereru" is my latest painting in my summer of '21 series. The nikaus bright red berries take about one year to ripen and are a food source for native birds - especially the Kereru and Kaka. The landscape in the background is that of Ponui Island as seen from the back of Waiheke Island - a favourite land form of mine. This painting measures 456x557mm unframed.
